Bon Jovi a brief History
Bon Jovi was founded in 1983 in Sayreville New Jersey by Jon Bon Jovi. The original memebers of the band include: Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, David Bryan, Alec John Such, and Tico Torres. It is nothing short of amazing for a band with the commercial success that Bon Jovi has had to still be together since 1983. The only exception is that Alec John Such was replaced in 1994 by Hugh McDonald on Bass.
Bon Jovi's first highly successful album was Slippery When Wet from 1986. They Then followed up in 1988 with New Jersey. These two albums made Bon Jovi a household name.
