Classic Games:
November 26th, 1964:  Broadway Joe Namath takes the field and leads Alabama to a 21-14 victory over Auburn, en route to its eighth National Championship.  1964 is the first year that the game is televised nationally.

December 2nd, 1972”Punt Bama Punt”:  Alabama has played a tough game, and the Crimson Tide look to have the game sealed up with a 16-3 lead, and only 6 minutes left.  Auburn however goes on to block two Alabama punts in the final minutes, and returns both for touchdowns.  The Tigers go on to win, and Alabama is handed their first loss of 1972, and the Crimson Tide hopes of a National Championship are shattered.

November 27th, 1982- Trailing by 6 in the final minute, The Auburn Tigers turn to their go-to guy, and star running back Bo Jackson.  Jackson takes the ball over the pile in the final moments, and Auburn wins a barn burner by a score of 23-22.  This ends Alabama’s 9 game win streak, and would be legendary coach, Bear Bryant’s last Iron Bowl.
